Choose from a variety of floor plans: all provide a neutral, elegant palette for you to personalize as you make the space your very own. Your private residence, which includes a convenient bath area and kitchenette, is also just steps away from the dining room and activity areas. We feel strongly that the place you call home should be comfortable and comforting. Our hearts smile when we hear residents refer to Summer’s Landing as home. We feel the same way.
Person-Centered Wellness. The Wellness Director of Assisted Living partners with you and your physician to create and maintain your very own care plan. Our unique medication management system provides residents with accurate, personalized medicine, every time, every day, as directed by each resident’s primary physician. Count on our team to offer you supportive daily assistance with dignity and privacy. Need to make an appointment to see your doctor? We can also help arrange transportation for you to attend the office visit. Are there services you may need, such as therapy or home health? We can help you with that, too.
Cost Considerations. We believe simple is better, which is why we don’t have hefty buy-in fees, or surprise add-on service charges. Residents of Summer’s Landing appreciate the easy-to-understand predictable monthly fees. With most utilities, amenities, and personal services included, you will always be able to budget correctly each month. As of 2017, the average daily cost ranges from $84 for the smallest Assisted Living apartment, up to $114 for the largest apartment. As a comparison, the cost of 24-hour home health could cost more than $288 daily!
Long-term care policies and VA assistance may also help cover some of the cost of Assisted Living. Talk to your financial advisor or elder care attorney for information on these programs. To learn more about the Veterans’ Aid & Attendant Benefit, visit www.va.org.
